~ Asacian "Terroir" Wine ~

To enjoy Alsace wines the glass temperature must be cool but not iced (8° to 10°) and they must be poured into fine long stem glasses. The Alsace wines must be drunk rather young : from 1 to 7 years.

The Riesling Muehlforst
This Riesling grows on a clay-lime stone type soil. It is located on the territory of Hunawihr, facing East/South-East, at an altitude of 210 to 300 meters close to the nose-famous Grand Cru Rosacker land. Very delicate and fruity with a most expressive. A powerful body, soft in the mouth, elegant and cool. It is wine for ageing.

The Riesling Vieilles Vignes or Cuvée Sébastien
It is harvested at mid-november on the Muehlforst and forst plots where Riesling grapevine is over 30 years of age. It offers a mineral nose added to overmaturation aromas. Complex in mouth and unctuous. It is a wine for long ageing.

The Riesling Cuvée Clément
It comes from a chalk-clayey soil, on the Ribeauville territory at an altitude of 250 m on a generously sunny gentle slope. Here the grapewine is over 30 years old making a high-quality product. With an expressive and flowery nose it offers a slightly peppery nuance. It enjoys a well mastered acidity and is dry to the palate. It is a wine for ageing.

The Pinot Noir vieilli en fût de Chêne
The oak barrel ageing enhances all the Pinot Noir aromas with an additional slight touch of vanilla.

The Gewurztraminer Cuvée Particulière
Made of late harvested grapes that give a robust and spicy wine but much drier than any classical late grape harvested wine.

The Gewurztraminer Kaefferkopf
One of the oldest Alsace wines, it grows an o sunny slope at Ammerschwihr. It is a very delicate and rich wine with exotic fruits aromas.
